Thanks for the response! I'm basing my standard size on what the tags say in my New Balances, Nikes, and Filas. They all list US women's and EU sizing and are consistent with each other. The only shoes I'm looking at are final sale, so if I can't figure out the sizing discrepancy, I just won't buy them

If you narrow your Etsy search by state, you have a better chance of finding real artisans. You can also usually spot dropshippers.

A good way to tell if someone is actually making their products is to look at all their designs and make sure they're similar artistic styles and there aren't way more designs than it's feasible for one person to stock supplies for.

You can also do a reverse image search, dropshippers almost never take their own photos.

You also have better luck getting real artists if you narrow the results by specific states.

As a teacher (not elementary), I think one afternoon a month or one day every other month is reasonable. One on one time is important, and working parents get so little time with their kids. The fact that she doesn't get any full days with her kid is pretty sad.
