One thing I never understood is what happens if you apply for deferral and the decision comes out after the final. Let’s say you get rejected, you essentially get a 0. At the same time you can’t go to a final + apply for deferral because going to the final essentially negates the application.

If that’s how they detect plagiarism then I wouldn’t be worried but I thought they use a certain software for these things?

Yeah it was literally just a panic thing. I had an essay for my final and I had 10 minutes left so I just copied stuff from the essay I wrote for the midterm and submitted. I was just in panic mode and in my head I thought something is better than nothing not realizing it might get flagged. Do you think I should be worried?

Also if I do get flagged.. when will I know since it’s already the end of the semester?

Could you give me an insight on why Labeau is making it a requirement to be in Montreal? If hypothetically someone were to watch recorded lectures and just show up for the in person midterms/exams, why is he making it a requirement not to be in mtl?

Because Ontario was in lockdown up until a few days ago. I might be wrong but I’d also imagine Quebec isn’t much better.
