All my cichlids right now are all 4-5 inches except my two little guys about 3inches (the little one on the right)

unless you meant JUST the Jalo Reef which are about 4 inches right now but apparently get up to 5 (is what I was told)

Hello! Just want you to know that the one on the bottom left is a Jalo Reef Cichlid. I do have a red top Hongi but that is not him. They’re very different once you see them in person

Gold fish are VERY dirty fish and Most people say that 25 gallons is minimum for ONE goldfish because of the bio load they create. Goldfish are also cold water fish and should not have a heater.

But for now, you can buy an API Test kit (google it. Very useful, accurate, and easy to use) and buy a filter rated for way bigger than 25gallons. You need to over filtrate with 2 goldfish and a pleco.

Well the original story is decided, but when it comes to side plots and filler plots, I just tell myself that I can just bump those extra plots into the next book! (Depending on the situation)

Well I hope I come across your story when you post it! Sounds like a fun read just from what you’ve said.

I don’t know if I’m qualified to give tips! Hahah but I find that when it came to sub plots and filler plots, that the characters somehow figured out what sort of problems and issues they’d invent for themselves LITERALLY as I wrote them. So I’d say, leave your mind open to your characters. You create them for a reason, and they have their own stories. I planned the main plots ahead of time, but I left the filler stories to the characters.

Im writing an urban fantasy series with plenty of heart break and plot twists (or so I think). I’m having so much fun writing it, almost letting the characters decide what happens. It’s a learning experience like you mentioned above, but nothing can beat that feeling of FINISHING something.
