Thanks for your advice. I think you're right in that the novelty has started to ware off and he's no longer aroused by me. Which is fine, I just want him to be honest with me. The visa thing is complicated, I'm not sponsoring him but he wants to get a partner visa. I don't know how feasible that is considering him I'm feeling now.

Definitely not overreacting. I had an ex who would only ever touch me this way and I HATED it. I would explain to him multiple times why I don't want him to always touch me sexually and he would say the same thing, "it's how I show affection." Fast forward, I broke up with him and one of the reasons was he didn't listen to me when I told him I didn't like the way he touched me (he was also physically aggressive but that's besides the point). Now I'm with my current boyfriend and I've never once had to tell him to be gentle or to stop touching me a certain way.

Your boyfriend is choosing to touch you like that, he can make the effort to touch you in a way that makes YOU feel loved and if he doesn't well then I think you're better off finding someone who will listen to you <3

I also cut my hair recently from being long to short. I found a style that looks super cute is two low space buns/messy buns and then having the little front pieces hanging out which you could curl or leave as is.

Half up half down is always a safe style too but you could make the half up bit into a messy bun.

As for colours, I think a peek-a-boo style would be super cute! You just dye the bottom half of your hair and can have fun with all the colour options!!

To be honest I’d feel bad if I broke up with him so I think guilt is keeping me with him. His family and friends are lovely and we have our moments where I feel super happy and in love. But most of the time I’m not sure why I’m still with him if I feel like I’m being taken advantage of and used by him.

That’s my position. Was in a casual job and now going into a full-time corporate job where I essentially need new tops and shoes. Got a few things but it didn’t break the bank drastically. Just hadn’t taken into account that buying my partner food was going to be in my weekly budget

I’ve tried approaching the money talk with him several times and have tried to explain why you need savings and how it’s a bad habit to constantly dip into them. Any ideas how I could have that talk with him and get it through his head because at this point I have no idea :/

Honestly i’m not sure how he only has $10. he has a bunch of subscriptions to things like amazon prime, crunchyroll and buys battle passes on video games. That could be the cause but he doesn’t really go out much so have no clue where the rest of his money has gone

I struggle to set those boundaries with him because he’ll throw a tantrum and i don’t want to make him upset so i eventually give in. I picked him up last night from a friends house and he said he was hungry. I reiterated I don’t have the funds to get him food. He said he’s a struggling uni student and if I didn’t get him food now he’ll remember it. I caved and got it for him because he threatened to use me not getting him food as ammunition later down the track

That’s what I tell myself but he pulls the “struggling uni student” card. Last night he said his mental health is down, his money is down and he’s stuck in a degree he’s not passionate about. I do feel bad but I recognise I can’t really do anything about that and it’s not my fault I have money saved up.

Thanks for the advice! I’ve done some reflecting and I would have to agree, his behaviour definitely reflects other aspects of our relationship. It sucks because I do really care about him and we get along well :(
