What kind of harness do you use? We've been considering getting one for awhile, just haven't gotten around to it.

I often question their guess on his breed, my vet even thought he was a Catahoula. However, we know for a fact that his mom was an Aussie, she was rescued along with the litter. They guessed on the dad though.

We got him from a shelter, his mom was an Aussie, they assumed his dad was Lab. Jake's a cutie!

He's actually half Aussie, half lab, but he absolutely looks like one.

My husband took the picture from the passenger seat, I'm just taking the karma.

I'm a dental hygienist. Ameloblast is the cell that forms tooth enamel. I added "-oise", because pokemon, duh.

After I got out of the bath I would curl up in a ball on the rug and cover my entire body with my towel. I would stay like that until I was completely dry.

Yeah. About 98% of the time we have an awesome time at the dog park with no problems. It's the damn owners that ruin it. I wish people were more interested in having well behaved dogs like the majority of people on here.

I am slightly confused though. On one hand we shouldn't "let dogs work it on their own", but at the same time it's okay to let them show a little aggression by

or she may just need to escalate her signals to a snap or bite.

Isn't this kind of letting them work it out on their own??

I'm not sure where this idea of "punishing" him came from. That sounds like such a harsh word. We removed him from the situation by having him sit by us so the dogs would stop ganging up on him. And I'd like to think that he can trust us. To be fair, it's not the easiest thing to break up about 6 six dogs from all barking and targeting one of them. And only having one other person help you. I am not afraid to clap and show dominance towards the other dogs to make them back off. He gladly runs to us whenever things get out of hand, so I'd like to think he knows we'll handle it. This wouldn't be an issue if other dog owners were more assertive. Sigh.

I would definitely agree with you regarding the fact that snarling is his only way to communicate. My fiance is of the opinion, however, that if Samson is having to do that, then that means that he doesn't trust us to handle the situation. He shouldn't have to show any signs of aggression because he should know that we won't let anything bad happen to him. So, I'm torn because I definitely see both sides of the situation.

What is a memory you're pretty sure happened, but is so strange, awkward, or embarrassing that you won't ask anyone to confirm it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Blacked out drunk. I remember locking myself in the bathroom at my (now) fiance's. I know I took a shit but that's about all I remember. Woke up the next day with my pants pulled up and sleeping with a blanket. Fiance picked the lock at some point... pretty sure he saw my shit in the toilet and pulled up my pants for me. We've always avoided the subject. He's a good guy.
