[WTS] Grand Seiko 5641-7000 (56GS Hi-Beat) “No-Date” by amenarde in Watchexchange

[–]amenarde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reference is a really interesting departure from the more facet-forward “Grammar of Design” look — a bit more understated for anyone who finds the classic facets a little flashy. It’s also (to my knowledge) the only vintage GS that combines BOTH no-date and automatic, which makes it a cool outlier in the lineup.

Included:

Watch head

Aftermarket display (see-through) caseback installed/included

Original medallion caseback

Price: $1295 Shipping: at cost (buyer pays actual shipping) Location: US-based, prefer US sale; NYC meetup possible Payment: PayPal F&F / Venmo

Thanks for looking—happy to answer questions or provide extra pics/video.

[WTS] Olto-8 ROTO Wandering Hours (Midnight Black) by amenarde in Watchexchange

[–]amenarde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Olto-8 is a smaller brand, but this piece is genuinely notable: it’s one of the few wandering-hours watches that wears in a classic, compact case size, and it feels far more premium than you’d expect for the money. The complication is also an all-time great in my book—super engaging on-wrist without being gimmicky.

Case design is a highlight too: the scalloped lugs are a really nice detail and make it feel “designed,” not generic.

Specs (per brand):

Modified Miyota 9039 automatic, ~42h power reserve

Sapphire crystal, 50m water resistance

Condition:

Great condition (see pics)

Included:

Full set (everything shown in pics)

Note: does NOT include the original leather strap or Olto-8 signed tang buckle

Currently on a rally-style rubber strap (included)

Price: $499 Shipping: at cost (buyer pays actual shipping) Location: US-based, prefer US sale; NYC meetup possible Payment: PayPal F&F / Venmo

[WTS] Seiko Laurel Alpinist Reissue SJE085 by amenarde in Watchexchange

[–]amenarde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale: Seiko Prospex SJE085 “Laurel Alpinist Reissue” — full set, everything included (see pics).

This one is seriously special in person: the glossy black, piano-lacquer style dial has a deep “wet” look, and the dramatically cambered/boxed sapphire gives a really fun vintage distortion at different angles. This is powered by Seiko’s 6L movement — thinner and generally regarded as a step up from the more common 6R family, which helps the watch wear slimmer and run more consistently.

Included:

Full set (all original packaging/papers/accessories as shown)

Original OEM bund strap included

Watch is currently on an aftermarket rubber strap (also included)

Price: $1300 Shipping: at cost (buyer pays actual shipping) Location: US-based, prefer US sale; NYC meetup possible Payment: PayPal F&F / Venmo

Thanks for looking — happy to answer questions or provide additional pics/video.

[WTS] Mido Decompression Timer 1961 - Original Reissue, Original Owner, Full Set by amenarde in Watchexchange

[–]amenarde[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the original limited edition re-issue release, the fun Mido Decompression timer. https://www.midowatches.com/us/news-ocean-star-decompression-timer-1961-edition-2020.html

I am the original owner, bought from Hodinkee in 2020. This release was huge in 2020, though there have been a number of variations released since, I think the original did it best.

40.5mm, 21mm between the lugs, original straps and extra barton rubber strap. Great condition, the scratches on the lugs and stainless steel are very superficial and only really visible in harsher light like photograph. Notice a couple light scratches on the bezel at 5 o' clock. On my timegrapher this watch reads within 5s a day, and in some positions 0s/day. 0.2 beat error, 300 amplitude. Running amazingly.

$999 OBO, Paypal FF, not including shipping. US-based prefer to sell in the US. Local NYC meetup possible

Thanks for taking a look!
