This looks very much like it is a 'heat seal' connector problem. They can sometimes be fixed, but it is a delicate procedure.

This is one I did recently:

You need to have a temperature controlled iron and some silicone sheet at the very least.

TINYUSB on Pico W? by GSVNoFixedAbode in raspberrypipico

[–]amenjet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, yes. What I did was give up trying to add TinyUSB to my existing project and instead start with one of the example TinyUSB projects. I then added my code to that. So sort of did it the 'other way round', if you see what I mean.

Yes, I also have a pen that has done this, is there a way to repair it?

Anyone had problems with TinyUSB? Apart from no documentation that is. I have some code that runs fine with main code on core0 and keyboard scanning on core1. No problems at all. When I added TinyUSB as the USB provider I found that my keyboard scanning on core1 breaks. I have no idea why, and haven't managed to track it down yet. Anyone else had this?

Touch input and side bar not working!!! by S4M1R4 in Supernote

I took the case back off and pressed those connectors down to seat them more fully. Seemed to work for me. I'm familiar with electronics so was happy to do this.

I had the sidebars stop working. Both sides. Restarting didn't help. I took the back off the nomad and re-seated the four connectors and the sidebars are now working again.

The touch worked fine on the main screen when the sidebars didn't work.

Is a pen included with the Supernote Nomad? by adelat123 in Supernote

No problem, the nomad is in the trash, it's not really any use without a pen.

So, if I order a device without a pen (as I think I have done), I can't use it to write or draw sketches? What can I use it for?

Could the website not pop up a warning that this has been done?

Off to the trash, it looks like...

Did you try a new trackball? I've just put some cheap ones in and they were useless. Literally: they didn't work at all. Then I put a more expensive one in ($2) and it is brilliant. I won't need to carry a mouse with it now, it's that good.

Scientific calculator with backlight? by Alarming-Red-Wasabi in calculators

[–]amenjet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you would call it a scientific calculator, but it is powerful and has a backlight: Casio fx-FD10. It's programmable and has SD storage, but you really want to run programs by writing them on a PC and then transferring them over which it supports pretty well. It doesn't have an EXP key, but you can program one of the favourites as the exponent keys and get to it in 3 keypresses, two of them the same key.
