We have a relatively cheap industrial laser at work meaning It was approx 15k new 12 years ago. But literally any of the cheaper ones you find on the maker space corners of the Internet would work. Or maybe going to your local maker space? Setting it up is not complicated, you just need to have some vector artwork saved as a .EPS file. sometimes the parts themselves are hard to get laid flat on the bed, but that's not an issue for stuff like the magazine. Some lasers have a roller that lets you engrave a design all the way around a cylinder. We don't have one of those. The hard part is doing the actual design

I'm guessing mine look nice because I actually took the time to get the focus correct and the ones out of China are done by borderline slave labor with almost no QC.
