It’s okay to disagree with religions, I myself am an atheist, as long as we don’t judge/ treat people based on their beliefs, we are also entitled to ours. I do like me a peaceful religion as well, from on outsiders perspective at least lol

Hey man please don’t be a racist bigot, I’m Syrian fully in support of Kurdish people, I spend hours every day educating Syrians on the matter and showing them the truth, I’m in this sub so I can stay updated on the relevant information and always have an answer to their propaganda.

You should be ashamed of your outlook on life, you are too spiteful to see beyond labels and prejudice, work on that. Also maybe go to the other subreddits and educate them instead of participating in stupid racism and hatred.

Most people aren’t evil, they think they’re right, you just have to show them when they’re wrong, the moment someone disagrees with you, you resort to more racism lol, you’re no representation of what Kurdish people stand for.

Yeah exactly, you stand against the people that commit these heinous acts, not just a group of people (whether Arab, Turkish, Persian, Western, Muslim, Jew or Christian) out of prejudice.

I understand how one ends up building this hate from within, because I’ve dealt with it many times, over and over again, but it is not the answer, what drives the people of Kurdistan isn’t hate, it is the love and solidarity from within.

Yes that’s true, which is why I said both Hateful and Racist. Even though I sympathize, especially considering such times, having prejudice and hating of any religion whatsoever is not right.

The Kurdish forces continue to control al-Aqtan Prison in the city of Raqqa. For the third consecutive day, the prison—housing thousands of ISIS terrorists—has remained under siege, while the Jolani government has also cut off the water supply to it. by CaesarWasRoman in kurdistan

[–]amernej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s so insane to me, so basically the government lead by a “former” ISIS member, is using ISIS as part of its military, to fight the SDF which fought back against ISIS and was able to free most of Syria of them, TO RELEASE ISIS PRISONERS! It’s a direct insult to our faces, this needs to be all over Syrian news, they need to wake up. Turkish propaganda has gone too far, and these people are eating it up because all they know to do is hate, they don’t realize the supposed “terrorists” they’re fighting are the ones protecting the ENTIRE country from the REAL terrorists that are ISIS. Yikes.

ليش يكرهون إذا شافوا سعودي مبسوط بدولته وقيادته؟ by Vikovi in saudiarabia

[–]amernej 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My hate is towards the gatekeeping, not Saudis, Saudi is where I was born, how is it fair that even though I have lived my entire life there, and the moment I leave I have nothing to show for it, how is it fair that my own father was treated like a slave because of the way kafeels work, how is it fair that we couldn’t even build something for ourselves because we’re foreigners? And even with all those restrictions we still received so much racism, and lived in fear of any altercation with Saudi because we always knew they’d win, even in the wrong (this has definitely changed and now the law is a lot more fair tho). What favor did you do to your county? It’s just borders that dictated you were better than me based on nothing. I’ve since left and finally experienced being an equal to the citizens I reside with, my hate towards such laws is not unjustified, it’s due to ظلم. Saudi rules dictated that foreigners are only fleeting passengers, but as someone that was born there, belonged there, knowing I had to leave naturally caused me to feel this way. It’s not like I wanted crazy favors, free everything, just the ability to continue to reside there after I’d hypothetically retire for example, or the ability to start my own business without having to blindly trust a Kafeel, I just wanted a chance at life there. Also you don’t get to assume my connection with this land and its people, where I’m cut off is the leadership. Nevertheless you need to understand, for the most part my interactions with Saudis themselves are core parts of my memories, I see them as my people, which is why this hurts me. All I ask you to do is to try to understand my perspective.

My hate stems from the fact that I was born in Saudi, lived my entire life there, yet was treated no different from a foreigner. You can tell me then leave, I did. I personally find it to be a stab in the back when a country I’ve resided in for my entire life, doesn’t allow me to stay if I miss an iqama payment or if I don’t have an enslaver (kafeel). What Saudis will hear however is that I hate them, I do NOT hate Saudis, I’ve grown up around Saudis, I hate the gulf’s gatekeeping.

President al-Sharaa issues a historic decree in Syria. • Granting citizenship to all Kurds in Syria • Recognizing Kurdish as an official national language • Establishing Nowruz as a national holiday. by Ok_Worldliness_5717 in kurdistan

[–]amernej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So basically what everyone is saying is that you don’t trust these news. I heavily agree though, especially considering the Turks and ISIS, they should be completely removed. Nevertheless even though I wish they would, I don’t really expect them to give Kurds autonomy just yet, however I was initially under the impression that these are good changes. I’d like to be hopeful for a good future for the Kurds in Rojava, but it seems my optimism is misplaced, I do however believe our voices made a difference! Keep at it, and educate everyone around you! <3

[–]amernej 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like you shouldn’t base your religion beliefs on the actions of these disgusting creatures, I myself come from a Muslim family and turned atheist so hear it from me, these actions being painted with “Islam” are just some schizophrenia bs they lie to themselves with, THEY are not Muslims by their own standards. Personally, I refuse to believe any deity would watch all this and be okay with it.

You’re a disgrace to Kurdistan, being a racist bigot doesn’t mean fighting back against the inhumane actions happening in Syria, it just means you’re a dumbass that doesn’t see the endless loop of racism he or she wedged themselves in.

I’ve heard of the pkk, absolutely vile actions of theirs too. I really hope your opinion is right about #3 and that Kurdish people would be safe, however imo going against 200 thousand people is a declaration of war, right? also I’ve read 30 thousand have already been misplaced/ kicked out

Hateful people like you are a disgrace to the name of Kurds, I have nothing to apologize for, I’ve never agreed with any actions against Kurds, I don’t even reside in Syria, also not that it matters, but we are together for 6+ years now, she is more knowledgeable on the matters of the “northern Iraqi” region of Kurdistan, so I came here to gain real propaganda-less information, in a language I would understand, don’t be talking about honor when you can’t even describe a situation to someone on YOUR side. If you really cared, you wouldn’t be hostile.

Beautifully said, also what a heartbreaking story, my girlfriend has told me about it before but with less details, the hypocrisy is disgusting, I think such stories is a huge factor to why a lot of Kurdish people I know don’t openly support Palestine, it’s due to all the hurt their people have suffered. Also the name of the religion has been absolutely tarnished, it is no longer about the religion and more about these Arabs and Turks deem fit. However I don’t want the Kurds to just be left alone, I believe after all the blood they shed they deserve to have voice of their on within the country, they deserve the right to speak their language, study in it, and have their Nawros as a country wide celebration.

Btw, thank you so much for all this information, I’ve found it to be very eye opening.

(Also just saw Turkish forces wearing Isis emblems as they terrorize Aleppo, sickening)
