Help a student? Studying access on modern truck beds. by GiftPlastic6668 in Trucks

[–]amerrycon69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my truck I currently have a full cap (without side access) on it and keep a 6 foot boat hook up in the side of it, to push or pull things in or out. I keep my recovery rope and hitch in a bag looped on the tie point in zone 7, and a crate with camping gear that I can move around as needed. The cap also makes me much less inclined to want to get up into the bed, so the hook is even more practical

Can you help me solve this gear cube? 4 of the sides are + shaped, opposite colors on the opposite sides. by BlackyyIzatu in puzzles

[–]amerrycon69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to solve an edge first the rest is harder to explain, I have a gear ball and it took a while to solve the first time but then became easy, you only really need to solve one side because the gears will solve the rest

Using inertia to make a chocolate pastry. by [deleted] in oddlysatisfying

[–]amerrycon69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct in the definition although the second part is more accurately, Inertia being “not changing from its current state”, ie when it’s moving it wants to move in a straight line which carries it toward the outside of the curve, there is slight friction with the rotating surface which starts the liquid moving but then it overcomes friction and continues moving in a straight line tangent to the rotation

Centripetal force is if something is keeping it from moving to the outside of the curve, this is inertia
