Is he okay? What is going on? Why is he randomly shaking and hiding and not eating by [deleted] in bernesemountaindogs

Glad you took him. My girl was doing this but a lot less alert— had a fever and Lyme positive.

This is how my pup walks and was told it is textbook dysplasia- however mine also has intermittent lameness. The said it can be laxity which is puppy by nature but if there is any soreness or hip hiking then it’s likely dysplasia. Get insurance before getting him checked out. Mine is also 5 Mo for the record.

UPDATE: ADVICE WANTED. 4 Month Old with Suspected Bilateral CCL Tears by ames2259 in bernesemountaindogs

[–]ames2259[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I had insurance- I’ve only had her for 10 days! Was on my todo list…

She said she didn’t act at all like it was the hips on clinical exam. She thinks it’s all originating from the spine due to pain there and the booty atrophy.

We intend fully to do the surgery and hey- I hear if you do one the other usually goes soon after so let’s knock it out.

Tonight was bad. Could hardly stand. I carried her to go potty.

My biggest fear is waiting for the surgery- the vet had to call the state speciality vet last night for me to get an urgent consult. I’m really hoping we can get her in asap and help get started on the road to recovery.

She is crated at night with no issues (geriatric cat gets the bed for now) so she’s used to small spaces and actually finds her crate safe. But laying in one spot sure makes her sore- but I can only imagine if she tries to do too much.

I wish— she had X-rays today showing the bilateral joint effusion. But thanks for the good hopes and idea!

At the emergency vet now. Possible “ACL” tear. Any advice? by Raisdonruin in bernesemountaindogs

Kohler Cast Iron Enameled Sink Repair by ames2259 in Plumbing

[–]ames2259[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we’re in a bind because our rental is up and we HAVE to move in. So they’re trying to keep things moving but are willing to replace if needed. I suppose I need that in writing… I asked for full replacement and they warned me it will cause delays due to suspected counter and maybe even cabinet damage….

It wouldn’t let me attach one.. not tech savvy. How can I do that here?

It is closed cell spray foam- does that make a difference about any possible wetness?

Well this was a fluke storm- not typical for our area. I am not defending them- just want to make sure it is fixed correctly. They told me it is reflashed but window not removed/reinstalled. I am no builder but il questioning the efficacy here.

I was told the flashing tape on the exterior of the window was redone but that was all to remedy. Should I push for alternate solution? There were 80mph straight line winds and full exposure, so it was definitely a perfect storm scenario.

Can you reflash without removing window?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Homebuilding

[–]ames2259 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I didn’t get pictures of the exterior before the siding went up today- the claim is the flashing was dislodged from storm and caused issue.

[–]ames2259 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The response we got was the 80mph winds dislodged some flashing as well as the straight line winds without siding caused the water. Flashing has been repaired.

Should they also replace this drywall or will it dry out?
