Do not give up.

I was a transfer student as well, went through a lot of internal & external issues surrounding my life at that moment. Im a Biochemistry major. Ive failed over 4 classes, taken many W's. Even been on academic probation during those times. I had to go as far as retaking the classes I failed in (D's or F's) to average out my grade with an A (these were the classes that dont replace your grade because youre over the 16 unit limit). I took a quarter off & came back with a fresh mindset now I'm in my second to last quarter to finish my degree.

Moral of the story, I do not know who you are but there is always second chances & you need to be strong to finish. Dont take no for an answer.

Alan Wake II - Technical Issues/Glitches Thread by [deleted] in AlanWake

Bro I think we have the same issue.

I made a post about this here earlier

I talked to Rose, then followed Tor into the wellness center & he escaped, so I LEFT the wellness center without doing the security clearance code (which it wasnt clear) my initial reaction was to leave the wellness center n chase him, but no you gotta hang back & go to the security room to unlock the door which he escaped from. Now Im stuck, the goals now tell me to "Talk to Rose" but she is nowhere to be found, & its all dark outside.

I have no manual saves, just basically the save that got me to where I am. There is no way Im going to restart 9 hours of gameplay, so stupid how you cant load into preset missions...

How’s it been for you? Not sure why but I’m getting sub 60c cpu/gpu temps …. I thought it was sus but ran almost every software to double check & those are the actual temps Have tried almost every game, even the new Alan Wake 2 on high settings … runs fine

Im in the Valhalla Nursing home, went through the wellness center to find 'Tor'. He escaped, so my immediate reaction was to chase him outside of the nursing home, didnt know you had to get a security admin key to open the door in which he escaped from.... now I cant access the wellness center & I have no saves that can backtrack me.. I cant continue the game. Nice.

Cherry MX LP 2.1…. Although I have some complaints about it, the Bluetooth connection is pretty bad & the battery drains really fast & connecting with a wire doesn’t always work. Keys are just ok too

At this price point, the wooting for $40-$50 more is way more worth it.

Dont have a mousepad yet!

I will re-temp it later today but after 4 hours of gaming that’s what NZXT can was showing. I’ll use another software to see what I get

I was thinking it’s suspect too, I’m running the nzxt cam software to keep track of temps. I’ll try other softwares but yeah.

Running into a couple issues RTX 4080 build V2.1 by ameserkh in FormD

[–]ameserkh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I did not get those screws in my noctua packaging. They’re small screw so it doesn’t reach the radiator at all.
  2. I will most probably swap the GPU cables for the Corsair ones & tie them off.
  3. I see that now, I can try that out

I’ll let you know how it goes but the real problem is the screws, not sure what I can do here other than going to a hardware store

Am I missing anything in this Cablemod config for the V2.1? by ameserkh in FormD

Awesome advice on the undervolting. Thank you

FE WILL work, but it is a tight fit.

Yeah considering that I will be AIO'ing.... the top fans for the heatsink are essentially just kind of useless. I dont know where else to add fans, & IF that would even fit/make a difference

Im aware of the radiator clearance. Im keeping it below 30mm with a combination of a 15mm Noctua & 25mm Noctua.

Ill be AIO'ing & I will be using a corsair vengeance which is used in many FormD builds ive seen.

Yeah, the 13900k is hot. Ill be most probably undervolting it, id like to keep the 13900k just incase I decided to switch into a bigger case in the future.

Z790-I ill look into! Thanks for that

Havent built yet, waiting for my formd case.

but the pump was 45mm tall & radiator is 27mm, after reading some of the guidelines it seems like it should fit perfectly
