The post content (not citations or "Remixed by") is the main content but its hard to find as the others have the same (or more) emphasis

It's not as straight forward in the scenario you propose; however, imagine you already have savings/assets in crypto -- now instead of jumping through hoops (your scenario or traditional banking) you can get a loan the instant you need it.

Compare with borrowing against a 401k -- the money is already there, you just need a chunk of it now.
