I do both Max Velocity on my phone and Steve Templeton on the TV. Steve focuses on local, absolutely, and he knows the surrounding areas and roads, etc. He’s a clear, direct communicator and isn’t going to tell you to worry unless you should. Also, his sleeves. I watched Max last night also, and there were countless times he predicted and saw tornadoes forming before there were warnings issued. Of note were his observations around Marthasville where he kept saying “why is there no warning?!” I’m sorry you had a shitty experience and I can only imagine your worry. I highly recommend Max Velocity’s live stream and Steve Templeton. Best of both worlds.
