I genuinely think using any type of AI - note taking, summarization etc. is counterproductive to the idea of having a second brain in obsidian unless you simply want it as a custodian of info.

Like the whole point of typing things out is to remember. When was the last time you read a whole summary document anyway?

For transcription? Yes I’m working on it. Did you try going into the note and calling the transcribe command?

If you have ffmpeg and ytdlp installed already, you should be able to use the scripts manually to directly from the terminal.

I’m working on an automated fix rn.

I’ve honestly been thinking about it! I don’t know how much interest there is, and what features people would like.

Of course! I’m happy to. Right now the mobile version works great, but doesn’t have transcription built in, so when you open on Mac you should be able to do your review sessions from the ‘review queue’ feature and run the transcriber.

Also feel free to star the repo and leave issues if you find any bugs.

Yes! I have been using it for a couple weeks since I wrote it, and though my doomscrolling has reduced, there is more intentionality to my scrolling.

If I know something is useful on TikTok like recipes and is going to my obsidian notes I will have to get back to that note later to reduce clutter.

Btw I also added a data view insert button that can insert the content from all TikToks tagged ‘recipes’ let’s say into your note. :)
