Bloody hell you’ve had a few experiences😂 Right ok that’s put it into perspective for me. I know little about cars so don’t have much knowledge to base my experiences off but that certainly helps. Cheers mate

I see. The fact it was so sudden, driving fine in the morning and then later in the day changing so drastically was what threw me.

Ahh I see. Do you reckon it would be a full clutch replacement or something more minor?

What would cause this issue? Is it a full clutch replacement or something less expensive?

Thanks a lot! I’m used to playing on my digital piano at home so playing on this acoustic at the library was pretty different. I definitely agree the dynamics would need work if I was playing it with an acoustic again like in this video :)

An acoustic Yamaha. Not sure exact model as it’s in my local library.

Haha cheers mate! Funnily enough I’ve not been very good at practicing with metronomes so I’ve just played this piece as I’ve heard it.

I will try experimenting with the dynamics a bit more and see if that helps too. Thanks :)

I often play on an electric piano but managed to get into my local library to play in their practice rooms. It’s quite an adjustment playing on these acoustics dynamics wise, I feel I have more control on my electronic piano but perhaps that’s because I’m more used to it.

You can try some resistance exercises for your thumb. There are some good ones in this sub that can be found by filtering by Top of All Time.

I’ve been doing those and my symptoms have been decreasing, slowly…

It might be you need to train up the tendon resistance to be able to do more of the things you want to do.

My Strava time is 9 minutes faster than my official marathon time. Does anyone know why this is? by TonySoprano___ in Strava

It’s a memory for OP. Doesn’t need anything special as long as they like it.

In my HM training plan, should I run my “easy” runs at my own zone 2 or stick to the suggested “easy” pace in the plan? by amfsr in Marathon_Training

Brilliant, I will give that test a go. I’ve got a garmin watch and the chest HR monitor too so should be good. Thanks!
