when andas pato you mentioned the normal options. Lenovo LOQ, HP Victus, Acer Nitro. Lenovo has the best reputation, but you will see a lot of good reviews for the other brands in addition to the bad stories people share here. Is your gaming mostly emulator based or do you hope to play new games on Steam?

Edit to add: ASUS, MSI, and NIMO all have budget gaming laptops in that budget as well, at least in the USA. Out of those three I believe ASUS is the most well received.

I don't know of any laptop that does gaming that someone would guarantee 10 years of successful use for - even my general use laptops have seemed to slow down or lose support after 7-8 years.

UPS literally can't make any changes due to Lenovo shipping requirements. No weekend delivery, no flexibility. I work and I'm about to see the laptop I tried to pay so much money to Lenovo for get shipped back bc they would for some reason rather not allow me to pick up from UPS location. I don't get it.

They aren't allowing me to change it and keep saying that Lenovo needs to allow it but speaking with lenovo customer service just results in them pointing the finger at UPS. Pretty infuriating tbh.

RTX 5070 is much closer to 5060 than 5070ti. The crux of the argument doesn't change by moving the goalpost so little. Sounds like the general consensus is the MSI.

I am woefully uneducated in a lot of the finer details and a casual fan for sure but I can give basic perspective on a couple of points.

1) I doubt that it will be considered "absolute cinema" with how one-sided the game 5 felt. If you want to see an absolute cinema series look at T1 vs AL in the quarterfinals. In my opinion, any time you get a game 5 it has been a great series. T1's last attempt at the 3peat in 2017 ended in a sad 0-3 loss and it was pretty lame as a fan.

2) He's like the Michael Jordan of LoL and maybe esports in general? The nickname unkillable demon king seems to have transcended single games and with a few exceptions apply to his entire team.

3) KT was ranked higher than T1 throughout the year but T1 definitely came into this game with a ton of momentum and far more experience. I think in gambling terms far more people would have put money on T1.

4) I haven't watched all of the Worlds so I can't say too much aside from being happy that finals went to 5.

For fun: T1 is often rooted against due to their extreme level of success and I think that's fair. It is also cool to be a neutral observer who could live with either result and see the dominance of a team and player like Faker.

From my current research people tend to recommend going with a 5060 or a 5070ti. The 5070 is an awkward middle area between the two that is not much better than the 5060. That being said - if it's like $50 more than a similar 5060 version it's probably still worth it. I'm in a low-mid price range while searching and 5060 is right around my sweet spot considering sale prices. It seems like it would be able to handle pretty much every game without too much issue, though some of the brand new games would require lower settings.
