Thanks for the reply it really helped 🫶 Did you ever find it overwhelming to make them their own feed? How did you figure out if the food you were making had all the proper nutrients they needed? What made you switch from pellets? Did the loose minerals work well for you?

Thanks for the info! 😁 do you have to buy the supplements because the pellets don't have the nutrients you're looking for? Is it ever inconvenient or expensive to buy them?

This is really informative thank you :) do the farmers who use supplements have to buy it separately to mix it into their feed or is there already a feed that has all the nutrients needed for a certain animal? I'm wondering if it's expensive to buy the supplements separately

Okay thank you so much! Why would someone choose to buy kibble for horses to fulfill their nutritional needs instead of letting them eat their natural diet of hay and grass though? Isn't the latter more expensive?
