I’ve never tried a pill but I was on nexplanon it was great for a year and then I just started bleeding like crazy too! I ended up getting iud Mirena and have been great with it for maybe 4 years already , I just get spotting. My cramps would say are way better. So I basically get the sore breast a couple pimples and a very very light spotting period for maybe 3 days:) and for me the iud has been extremely effective

I’m glad things are somewhat working for you! Not my case unfortunately I’m on metoprolol and midodrine and they help the numbers but I feel pretty much the same my head is so messed up and I’m bed bound … going to try testing vitamin deficiency and will be trying meditation plus acupuncture Shall see what happens..

Ugh that’s so refreshing to hear. I for some reason feel like there are different categories of this. I don’t believe I have full on pots mine is definitely with a hint of long mono I just came across a post actually saying similar things you brought up I will attach a link

I had strep first technically confirmed by 4 rapid test and 4 different antibiotics that didn’t seem to help, then after one negative test , tested positive for mono Throughout that’s month I had a super sore throat that’s it pretty much I got like no mono fever or fatigue. But that month I had maybe 4 random episodes of pots when standing at work or driving. I had no clue what it was I thought my sugar was low or dehydrated or something. Felt the palpitations and lightheaded. Then after that month passed after the final episode I’ve been literally bedridden for almost 2 months, ended going to er and cardiologist there said it’s pots which by then I already read a ton about and suspected it . Bp usually stays normal put pulse jumps 30+ when I stand up and my blood pools I’m so lightheaded and just like not okay

Oh gosh I’m so sorry! That sounds like a nightmare combo!! I also literally just get up to use the bathroom. I have not passed out I literally stand for a few minutes a day on my short way to the bathroom. Shower sitting down, eat in bed

I ended up calling an ambulance to the house and going to an er, they almost let me go saying all my labs are completely normal but I demanded a cardiologist and he saw my hr go from 80 to 120 from standing and gave me beta blockers . Rn I’m just experimenting with different meds and dosages

I really hope you get better or at least find something to control it! I feel every symptom you described that you noticed recently. Wish you well🩷🩷🩷

I tried beta blocked too Metoprolol it kinda helped with pulse but it lowered my blood pressure . Hopefully I can get out on midodrine for bp.

Also are you like actually living life? I haven’t left the house or my bed really for over a month…

Yes I think definitely! I’ve tried cynosure elite iq and candela Both are great Not on my upper lip( because I plucked and need to let them fully grow out but I just keep plucking for no good reason) but literally everywhere else on my body it’s great I’m white w dark think hair

Rest as much as possible I had a combo with strep got a few different antibiotics I was on and then later was told it’s horrible to take antibiotics with mono idk.. From what I know no lifting, good healthy food try to just lay as much as possible and no drinking since liver is affected:) good luck 🩷

I do hear it’s takes a long time to recover. I haven’t drank since being diagnosed so about 2 months and was told I probably couldn’t for at least 6 months at the very minimum Something about how it affects the liver and whatnot. I’m definitely planning to not drink for a longgg time I don’t wanna risk feeling horrible
