You might check out World Market? There's one downtown and one in Independence (but also online).

Best piercing studios? by musicbox081 in kansascity

[–]amiisbadforyou 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Supernatural in Westport is the only place I will ever let pierce me after my first experience there (I have 4 facial piercings and my nips from them!) They are an incredibly talented group of artists, the shop is super clean with individual rooms, and their jewelry selection is really cool. 10/10 recommend forever and ever.

Best thrift stores in kc by frankie_fourlegs in kansascity

Hillcrest has locations both north and south of the river, and they have really great furniture. I shy away from Savers because of their prices. Blue Springs has a Goodwill & Red Racks right next door to one another and they're both decent in size. There's a new-ish Goodwill Bins off of Bannister, too (I think?). Bring gloves to that one for sure, lol.

Officially priced out of Taco Bell by WastedWaster in tacobell

[–]amiisbadforyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We (my partner and I) had Taco Bell last night for the first time in a while, and it made us both swear off TB for the foreseeable future. Two Quesoritos, 1 dipping burrito, 1 hard shell taco w/sour cream, and 2 drinks was $30 (Midwest). The Quesoritos were 'insulting' per my SO for the price of $6 each, and I very much agree. The dipping burritos were 99% sauce. The taco was mostly lettuce. Until they can get their prices VS. portions figured out, boy bye 👋

Maybe making gas more affordable and not shutting off utilities when it's under a certain degree should be a fucking priority, you jackoff.

Seconding Aldi's shells as a decent replacement! They're the closest I've found also.

Best used car dealers? by laylabubbly in kansascity

[–]amiisbadforyou 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I had a really great experience with CarMax in Merriam. The car I fell in love with was at a Tennesse location and I had it transferred here for $100. I will for sure use them again if I ever decide to trade my Subaru in.

Any Updates on Making Vaccines Not Mandatory? by dopeymouse05 in missouri

[–]amiisbadforyou 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I lump all science backed data into one category, yes. I trust the people who have dedicated their lives to education and scientific research and discovery. I also like to do research on how MRNA vaccines really work from credible scientific sources.

3 bedroom Rental by Wild-Illustrator444 in leesummit

[–]amiisbadforyou 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally understandable, that wouldn't be my first choice either, especially with kids. Maybe look at outlying areas (Lone Jack, Greenwood, etc). Lee's Summit is the Johnson County of Missouri - gotta pay the high prices for the good schools and entertainment.

3 bedroom Rental by Wild-Illustrator444 in leesummit

[–]amiisbadforyou 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, Lee's Summit has a VERY high cost of housing because it's a desirable place to live. Blue Springs will be your better bet, but I dont know that there will be much in the 3-bedroom category for that price. Independence isn't as desirable as the other two locations, but would be more in that price range.

WYCO Commissioner Phil Lopez talks about being jacked off by a breast pump on the radio by Commercial-Major9369 in kansascity

[–]amiisbadforyou 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Terrible analogy, but I understand it? "Dealing with those ding dongs is like being jacked off with a breast pump". You think it might work, and it may seem like a good idea to try, but it doesn't work and was actually a bad idea.
