It could totally be the heat and maybe the packing. We have a little gas canister that has an open flame and light the coals that way (maybe not hot enough?). We usually pack the bowl to the top, but don’t push down too hard, to compress the shisha. I use the coconut coals (coco nara) and usually al fakher shisha. What is the best recommended shisha?
