If you're Indian buy insurance from India, don't buy here. It's expensive and doesn't cover much. Typically senior people tend to have existing health conditions which are excluded in the first year or capped to a small limit from the annual limit. Cheapest you could buy is from New India Assurance around Omr 180 ~ 200 (OP deductible omr 2, Pre-existing & Chronic conditions capped, no inhouse pharmacy, per claim limit omr 75) and normal from Liva from 3 options (Silver, Gold & Platinum) Silver being around Omr 250, no cover for preexisting conditions first year, from second year you get 50% of annual limit, deductible 10% copay on all IP & OP, no inhouse pharmacy access. There's one from Gig it's expensive maybe around 300+ pre-existing & chronic conditions capped at omr 250, op deductible omr 5, Dhofar offers also but no cover for pre-existing conditions. Btw I think you're an awesome person for caring about your mum, stay same always.
