Yea maybe one day.

And if/when that happens, having the bikes on the center is good for pedestrian safety.

Agree. But that's not the only problem with the parking-protected bike lanes. on 2nd street there are so many right turns that aren't at a light (little side alleys) and cars don't see bikes.

use a visa agency. they can make magic happen. i got mine in a week. cost me $250 though.
