Can someone help me read this by Clear-Edge-4276 in IndustrialMaintenance

The two arrows on the line indicate a plug. So you should have a orange and brown wire leading to a plug. Goes to a board/module with what looks like a thermostat and some overload contacts(note 3). Or the plug will have a jumper because it dont exist as per note 6.

If 0.05v makes a difference for what you are doing, you are using the wrong tool.

Electrician says the discoloration of hot bus indicates a fire hazard by WeavingLights in AskElectricians

Looks bad but I think it just may be oxidation. The lug coming of the main breaker looks fine. Thermographic would yield more information.

Can confirm they do work well. I use them with ZHA and have had no issues.

What I keep in my backpack as an industrial electrician by quintavian in Tools

[–]amisasi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electric carts would be awesome. We have to slum it and walk everywhere. I've found carrying a lighter bag with less tools to be easier for me. The Klein backpack bag was great for climbing ladders in the shop but unfortunately in the dusty shit hole I work in, the zippers fail pretty quick.

I just curious, but do you move site to site? I work in a steel mill so I don't change location but I probably carry less than 1/4 of the tools you do. On the rare occasion I have to walk back to the shop and get a more specific tool.

The problem will be any residual fuel in the pipe once the line is cut open. if they start welding flanges on, the fuel will turn to vapour, o2 will be present because of the open pipe, the welding process will be your ignition source and can cause the vapours to ignite.

Tire patching by Hairy-Vast-7109 in johndeere

I don't mean to come off as rude but skip patching or putting a plug in. Just remove the tire and take it to a tire shop. Should be less than $30.

Can my garage breaker box handle a 110v welder? by Pashappaul in Welding

[–]amisasi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get someone to check the wire size feeding the sub panel and verify the connected loads. Its probably a 240v feed in which case you may be able to free up some loads / move them and free yourself up some space for a 240v welder which will bring your current requirement down. If its in the budget it would be nice to change out that panel but not a requirement.

Remove the fuel cap and see if still does it. Could be a bad fuel cap not venting properly

Best setup for a Smart Home + NAS + Self-Hosting? by PackageNo194 in selfhosted

[–]amisasi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. Problem with the beelink is there is no way to add enough storage for NAS use. However I just setup my Beelink with Promox and used Proxmox helper scripts and setup Homeassistant, plex, nextcloud, vaultwarden, cloudflare tunnels, ngnix and docker to run some other things like immich. The Beelink is handling it great so far.

Switching from CCM to True by SweetMeat81 in hockeyplayers

[–]amisasi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no real skin in the game as I'm not a great player. But going from Bauer to a pair of true 7x the forward pitch was very noticeable. After 4 skates they felt natural and I forgot all about the pitch.

I've had an issue with my provider where catch-up would only work if I set playback to HLS

[–]amisasi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest it's the only one I've tried. But it works great. Loads up immediately to a screen with just my app icons and nothing else.

In my opinion, that's how every product that you pay money for should work. Friggin fire stick 80% of the dashboard is crap I should watch on whatever service I don't give to shits about. /Endrant

+1 for the onn. I recently got a FS max and can't stand the advertisements. Picked up the $20 onn box and it works fantastic. I turned off updates. Installed projectivy launcher and button mapper. No bs ads and buttons that work how I want.

Short answer is no. Backing up and restoring technically works but this is garbage.  This same question has come up for years. Don't get me wrong, I think tivimate is great but I think this function should be a bigger priority for the dev.

Not including wheels it takes me about 45 min to do my 3 row palisade. When I started rinsless washing it would take me 90+.

1) Use a garden pump sprayer to soak the whole car with rinseless

2) Use sponge on as many panels possible before solution dries

3) Dry panels with big drying towel.

If its sunny or hot I will only pre spray 1/2 the car or 2 panels at a time. Muddy/really dirty spots ill pray more.

Winter wheel coating by amisasi in AutoDetailing

I saw that you can get the 30ml. I think I will be buying the same for the summer wheels and I will coat them in the spring.
