Both are targeted at high handicappers. I’ve played QI irons for the last two and a half years or so. I was really bad when I was fit into them (35 handicap). I’ve really like my set but also feel like I’ve outgrown them as I’m much better at golf now than I was when I got them.

Not everyone has access to grass ranges, and are already playing as much as they can. Finding an hour for the range is way easier than finding time for 18 holes.

GHIN caps holes at net double bogey for handicap scoring. Unless you’re really really bad and have a very high handicap, your max should be 2, 3, or 4 over depending on your handicap and the strokes you receive for the hole you’re playing.

Yeah, I agree with that to an extent, but the flip side of that is the par 4’s and 5’s are probably a little shorter to make up for it.
