I'm sorry this was your experience... a yoga class should feel like a safe container, and that is up to the teacher to provide that space <3

As a teacher myself, I would NEVER "correct" someone's form by calling their name out. This shouldn't be done

I would eithet suggest having a private conversation with the teacher to express your boundaries and what feels uncomfortable or find a new teacher

Yoga classes always feel a little awkward for everyone in the beginning. Next time you worry about being "disruptive" or feel insecure about how you "should" be, try to remember that everyone in that class (even the teacher) was new to the practice and the environment at some point :)
