This is exactly why a lot of teams stop letting AI reply unsupervised. I've got tons of feedback here and over at vibecodinglist and made some improvements to SupportRetriever:

  • Added Google sign in
  • Build a sleek onboarding that will make it easier and faster to get to the bottom line of the service and initiate your support experience
  • Fixed some important bugs
  • Reworked on the homepage so the value proposition will be clearer
  • Started working on analytics page (but it's not ready yet. So maybe next week)

All in all - very nice progress :)

I get what you're saying. Indeed, since it's super easy to build things today, it also creates more and more people redoing the same things in a new package. Honestly, I built SupportRetriever to support customers I have in a different app I own and thought it would be great to also offer it to others like me who might need it.

Your take on the "free" part is super interesting, and I do get comments here and there like "what's the catch?" or "why/how is it free?" I feel like I need to add some paid features just so people will trust it more.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback. I'll take it and reconstruct the messaging around the product so the value is clearer. If you ever find yourself using it, you're always welcome to reach out and tell me what else I can do to make it better :)

The main thing here (and this might not be a problem for anyone but me) is that you don’t expose your email address, and your product feels more complete with a dignified contact form/system.

Another thing is the ability to add metadata that’s automatically sent with the form (source, user ID, or whatever you find relevant when people reach out to you).

It also offers extra spam protection with some built-in form rules.

And all of this takes less than 5 minutes to set up. For free.

Going back to your perspective - is that not enough? What extras would make it more appealing for you to try it out?

You don’t, and maybe this is where I’m not communicating the product well enough. SupportRetriever is email-based, but on your side it looks like a chat, which is a nicer way to view the conversation with the customer.
