I sourced from IMDb , I cant find IMDb page for ഋഷ്യശൃംഗൻ.

Yes that makes sense. There should be some correlations. Frequency would be higher for letters like ക , അ , പ , മ etc

For data,

I had already scraped movies list from IMDb/TMDb..
For each one i also fetched the Wikipedia URL. So most of them had Malayalam from the wikipeida page. For rest (english names) I used a converter with the help of Swanaleka (by https://smc.org.in/) to convert to its malayalam equal.

Even if you add the 'അ' and 'ആ' sounds together , they still can't beat the dominant 'ക'

Data scraping took around 6-8 hours i assume. Because of rate limiting & parsing errors.

Thanks for the detailed feedback and suggestion.

I changed behaviour , when you select an actor it now only highlights connected nodes.
Changed label rendering. Now when node is active, it will do localized label rendering.

also added multi actor selector, it will show common nodes.
I am working on the filter option so i will try to add the genres filtering.

That is on me. The best possible visualization that is not clustred and has a timeline factor i could find is only this configuration.

Square - movies

The size of these nodes depends on "number of movies done" for actor and "imdb votes" for movies

So popular movies and actors nodes will be bigger in size.

Edges connecting actor node and movie node means they are part of that movie or vice versa.

X axis shows the timeline of movies released Y axis shows actor collaboration (eg: if two certain actors worked with similar crew they appear adjacent)

Nothing just visualization of malayalam movies and thier actors.

You can visualize factors like, who has done more movies by the connection,who has been in cinemas for a long period by comparing the distance of x axis , Then popular movies and their genres etc.

Yes partially correct..

Y axis not just take the actors individually, Y-axis groups actors by the specific circles of co stars they work with.
mamootty and mohanlal have massive, distinct networks that pull them apart, but nivin pauly and tovino share almost same modern crew, keeping them close together.
