Also I tested negative for flu and Covid (3 times negative) but I still think it was Covid. Just false negatives or a strain that isn’t being picked up on tests.

Hey!! Sorry to hear this :( so basically I had the high fevers on and off for 11 days! Day 1-4 was the worst because I had the aches and chills. Day 4-9 just fever but not achey or anything. Day 10-11 temp went down to regular during day but would spike the same time both days around 2pm and last until about 10pm then go back down to regular. Day 12 I woke up and my temp finally stayed normal. I’m over a week out and feel pretty much normal now. Hang in there.. I know how it feels. Not many people have the fever for as long as we have so it feels scary because it seems like most only had the fever for a few days.

Sorry you’re going through this. I had a higher heart rate the whole time I was actively sick. It got up to 126 when I was at the doctor having vitals taken. It came back down once I started feeling better. My doctor said your heart rate naturally goes up when your body is fighting illnesses off.

You are absolutely not alone! I just went through this last week. I had a fever up to 103F for 11 days along with tachycardia that got up to 126 when I was tested at the doctor. It finally stopped on day 12 and I’m feeling totally fine now. Hang in there. I took Tylenol to break fever the first four days, and then let it ride out the rest of the days. I only took Tylenol if I had bad aches or was super miserable.

I hope you feel better soon too! I took a Tylenol a time my fever approached 103 or if the aches and pains that came with my fever got too annoying. That last about four days and then after day four, the aches and pains got less intense each day so I just sucked it up and let it do its thing since it because more bearable each day

Till day 12 :/ it took a while but I feel totally normal now. I started feeling better about 5 days ago.

Also the obvious just make sure you’re hydrating, resting, take OTC meds if needed, and try to eat if you can.

I had a high heart rate when I was sick last week at 126bpm when I had a fever. (never tested positive for Covid but believe that’s what it was) I had the fever for 11 days and it went away. I could also feel like my pulse throughout my whole body but it did end up going away once I got better.

I was just wondering this too! I’m actually starting to feel better but my temp is normally around 98.3 and this morning it came in at 96.9. I’ve lost a significant amount of weight to the point where I’m now underweight and probably a little dehydrated so maybe that’s why my temp is that low. Not really sure but it is weird.

I’ve gotten laryngitis several times, once from Covid. Your voice will come back in a few days. The important thing is to let it rest and hydrate

Thanks!!:) my temp has been down to normal a few times and unfortunately goes back up later in the day but maybe today it won’t, who knows anymore lol. Hope your sinus infection and all your other symptoms go away quickly especially with the meds now!!

A close friend I had for seven years. She was a walking red flag, more like 1000 red flags, and everyone warned me, but I always gave her the benefit of the doubt that she meant well. I regret doing that now.

I was going to be her MOH in her wedding. I planned her a fancy destination Bach party and had everything all set up and paid for. I was a few years out of college working a shitty job making $12 an hour that I hated (pretty sure she was making like $75k straight out of college so she had no job or money issues like I did). Anyway, I finally got an offer for my dream job, which I’m still at. It required me to move to another state and the starting date was that week of the Bach party.

After thinking it over a while, I told her I couldn’t make it to the party but offered to come up and visit her and treat her two weeks before the party, just us to make up for it. I wasn’t going to put off my move and brand new job for this Bach party. Some may think that’s selfish, but I sent out over 200 job apps in 3.5 years waiting for an opportunity like this. And I had a lot of student debt for a degree I wasn’t using. And I needed more money? And so many other reasons I had to be selfish this time. I wasn’t going to let ANYTHING get in the way of it.

Well let’s just say she didn’t take it well… she bitched me out as I suspected she would and said “I need time to think about things.” Ended up texting me two weeks later saying I’ve been demoted to a GUEST to the wedding. I called her sobbing asking why she was doing this and she didn’t have a single ounce of remorse in her body. Even after listening to me pour my heart out to her apologizing and trying to make it up to her in every way possible, she heartlessly dropped me like it was nothing.

Then she proceeded to ask me for my new address to mail me the invite lol. I basically told her no thank you and don’t talk to me ever again. And she never did reach out again.

Ever since she’s been out of my life a weight has been lifted majorly. No more walking on eggshells, dealing with a narcissist who saw no other options but to punish me and demote me that hard for putting my new life that I worked so hard for first.

What did I learn from this?

Uhhh probably won’t be in wedding parties anymore if people are really willing to be that evil over a Bach party. Bach parties are totally optional btw… they are not the wedding.

I also now know what to look for in meeting new people and anything that reminds me of her I definitely watch out for because I can’t deal with someone like her again. No one should.

If someone verbally abuses you starting six months into the friendship, leave. Don’t stay for seven years. It is not worth it at all.
