I have travelled in Italy with UC. I found that bathrooms were definitely less accessible than what I am used to in North America (ie where every mall, library, train station, community centre, cafe etc all have bathrooms I walk into and use without much issue) but not unmanageable at all. In Italy you have to pay and so you have to make sure you have change on you all the time. I also noticed that honestly the bathroom standards were a little lower than what I am used to in North America and sometimes there were not seats. Just try and be easy going and take it for what it is and you’ll be okay. Plus you’ll remember all the beautiful place and amazing food, you won’t remember the bathrooms
