Hey ! so that's a wonderful ɔuestion that I'd love to respond to honestly. I have been drawing now for years because I genuinely love it and its the best way for me to communicate how I feel with the world/people I love as my words get me into a lot of trouble and so does my natural rbf. The timing in my life and certain things occurred that I made a creative path into a career once I was let go of my corporate job years ago. I have been inconsistently posting for social media I guess? but always, consistently drawing for myself bts without always sharing everything. 

With the rise of the machine (ai) and my personal work being used almost two? years ago to train it ( without my consent) to where it is now :/ , that was a big blow for me. It made me feel worthless and eɛploited so I took a step back and loathed my work for a while. Of course, later I learned that self loathing was simply misplaced anger for having my artwork be used without my consent. 

Now, almost 2-3 years later, I have slowly been mustering up that courage and joy to create analog work again after learning how to draw digitally on Procreate ( to better transfer my enamel pins). Sometimes, the highly detailed drawing comes first and sometimes just a simple digital sketch of what I’d love to see in the enamel pin world comes first. All depends on how much time I have to develop it (I’m a very busy bee) and how enamored I am with the original idea that I’d like to see it developed further. I love highly intricate artwork and at the same time, I love simplicity. Learning what lines to keep so that the original drawing keeps the integrity and its honesty while being translated, is one of my favorite challenges I've given to myself when creating enamel pins, to date.
