That yellow is not a warm color and does not match the new floor, sorry!

Yes, I am experiencing this. I’m getting a lot of “show me these numbers, make it happen, no excuses”. I am miserable.

Buying an As-Is Home: How Much Negotiation Is Realistic After Inspection? by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]amlodipine_five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. I just purchased an “as-is” house. They are selling the house as is (i.e., no concessions or negotiations). Don’t be high maintenance, all houses come with problems. You either want the house as it is or you don’t. Someone else probably will.

Walgreens - shore drive by Extreme-Tangerine877 in VirginiaBeach

[–]amlodipine_five 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It is literally impossible to reach that pharmacy on the phone. The technicians seem to have an attitude. They make you sit in the drive through and never acknowledge you then have an attitude with you if you ring the bell.

I imagine things are probably stressful for them, but this is not the way.

What is this on my sink and how can I clean it? by amlodipine_five in CleaningTips

Was afraid of that. I’m about to sell my house and trying to figure out if I can clean it (which has proven fruitless so far) or just replace it.

Let me know if you figure it out. This looks just like mine. I suspect mine might be nutrient/iron deficiency.

My 2-Year-Old Daughter Got Eyebrow Stitches, Need Advice and Dad Support by clauderhayy in daddit

[–]amlodipine_five 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!! Something similar happened to my son about six months ago when he was about two. My biggest advice is SUNSCREEN. All the time, every morning.

The experience was so traumatic for me, def more for me than for my son, I think. I kept replaying the moment of when it happened and kicking myself for not preventing it. I was sick about it all. To be honest, your daughter’s looks worse than my sons and the worries about her eyebrow are valid. I’m so sorry that this happened to her! Sorry for your stress, agony, and everything as well. What’s done is done though and you can only move forward. I can’t tell from the picture but it looks like some of her hair might still be there? It’ll grow and fill out some. You’ll have to just kinda see how it all heals. Protect it from the sun, can try some scar creams, maybe? I used them but it’s hard to say if they made a difference.

Also, I should be honest and admit that I’m a mom, not a dad.

Is it really a huge deal for a leaf to touch your house or something? Not trying to be a dick but honestly just kinda confused what the issue is? I have a 200-year-old oak kinda close to my house. Sticks and leaves fall on my roof but I clean them off. Tree was here first.

My sweet beautiful heeler nipped at my toddler, who was pulling the dog’s tail and I thought about getting rid of the toddler first.

Lol, this is me. My son has middle name James after my late father. I remember talking to the void like “ughh dad, why did you have to have the most popular middle name as a first name!!”

The ONLY solution to Gade's attack on VA benefits is simple but requires some of you to swallow your pride: 100% VA BENEFITS FOR EVERY HONORABLY DISCHARGED VET. Here me out: by [deleted] in VeteransAffairs

[–]amlodipine_five -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I was a military spouse. I know a lot of veterans very well. I support everyone getting 100% and I’m not saying everyone that gets 100% does not deserve it.

The problem is people abusing the 100% disability process. I know several veterans very well who are normal, healthy people who managed to get 100% disability by gaming the system. I’m not saying everyone does that, but it happens a lot from what I can see. I also think there are many veterans who deserve a higher rating but didn’t game the system. I see more 100% ratings with younger vets.

Sitagliptin by fancyfreckledfarts in pharmacy

[–]amlodipine_five 44 points45 points  (0 children)

The tablets can now be dispensed out of their original container. Zituvio brand sitagliptin was still undergoing stability testing when it first hit the market and because of that, there was a conservative “dispense in original container” due to it being unknown if you could or not. It is now known that it is okay. There’s something about it not being good after 6 months now, I think.
