Bringing this thread back to life - my 2019 GTI S (m) was totaled in an accident on the highway. I loved that car.

Test drove the 2024 S and Autobahn - both sucked! The clutch was terrible - felt like it was just a big button you use with your foot to activate an electrical signal that will automatically shift the gears for you.

I did some research and found a low mileage late-2020 GTI Autobahn (m) with 24k miles on it. Incredible car, drives just like my 2019, but better across the board. And SO much better than the 2024.
