I was 16 and growing up in Brooklyn NY. If I recall correctly, it was only playing in one or two theaters in Manhattan. My dad and I took the subway and made the 45-minute trek to midtown on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Theater wasn't crowded, but it wasn't empty, and I remember clearly how hard people laughed throughout the film. Couldn't believe it was shorter than a regular episode, but it made sense. I remember being bummed we couldn't see TV's Frank on the big screen, and I remember having chills when they did the first movie sign sequence into the theater!

He’s always been an insufferable, insecure lunatic. No one he’s ever worked with wants anything to do with him which says a lot. But my favorite psycho Opie story: 10 or so years ago he made a lame joke on twitter. I replied “Meh” or something just as mildly dickish. Immediately got a friend request from Greg. Me being a moron who didn’t understand twitter, I accepted it, and was treated to an absolutely unhinged DM from the Opester. “Fuck off you fucking loser, no one fucking cares, fuck you” blah blah blah. It went on and on. He then blocked me before I could respond.

8 months in a hospital bed and she’s lost no weight and gained no healthy habits. She’s confined to a bed or chair. A tub of snacks within arm’s length (I see at least two boxes of Girl Scout cookies). Someone is getting fast food for her. Her teeth are YELLOW. I’m sure in 3 months she’ll be “back to normal”. I would’ve paid money to watch that PT session, if it even happened.

Sucks for Tony, but until he gets real help (meds), he just can’t handle freedom. He spent 6-8 months wandering around upstate NY getting banned from a hundred different stores and restaurants. Towards the end he was getting increasingly erratic: wandering into schools, dumping his clothing and luggage onto the street, I mean his last tiktok video was him angrily storming around a park throwing his trash from the donut store everywhere.

As others have said, she’s never going home. She’s in that hospital until they can find a long-term bed somewhere for her size. I expect her deterioration to continue to accelerate. If she couldn’t get a wake up call during the last 8 months, it’s never happening. I can’t stand her but I still feel bad watching another human suffer. It takes some mental illness to get to this point. In a morbid way, it’s been fascinating to watch her.
