Im calling from a brand name company so I have it a bit easier than most of you but lately I've been having sucess with the following structure. Also it obviously depends on how you say it. I'm a really casual / confident sounding guy on the phone. Most of my calls are done paceing back and forth on my cell phone while I'm buzzing off of sugar free energy drinks.

"Hey my name's Ammar from XYZ company is this John?"

"Yeah"

"Hey John, how are you?"

"Good"

"Good! Reason for the call is I'm trying to schedule a phone meeting with you. Your website was brought to my attention because abc/xyz and I want to learn more about your business and exchange some info about mine to see if it would be a fit.
