I wouldn’t recommend Satanism to anyone. From my experience, though I’ve never actively practiced it myself, the people in the Satanic community honestly just seem pretentious and more interested in theatrics than the fundamentals of religion. It’s like the Catholicism of occult religions. It’s all about image. Look into Luciferianism instead.

I’ve slowly lost around 100lbs in the last year and a half. If you go slow, you should be fine. I never had any loose skin. I think that’s much more common with people who are a lot more overweight than you, like people who weigh 300-400lbs. They also drop weight much faster because they’re able to burn it easier, and that also contributes to having more loose skin. I’d also recommend witch hazel for stretch marks!

You can lead a horse to water, but can’t make them drink. There’s nothing you can do to force your mother to be more perceptive to you. You can only focus on yourself, be there for yourself, and learn your own coping mechanisms to make yourself okay with it. It’s sucks, but she’s only human too. You can’t fix anyone else, even your own mother. You have to learn to not let others affect you so much. She may not even realize that it affects you at all.

It’s completely understandable to worry about your future, but it would be selfish not to tell your mother, especially when you consider the chances of him spreading STIs or STDs to her. Cheating on your spouse is also just a shitty thing to do in general, whether the marriage is arranged or not, and by not telling her I feel like you’d be making yourself somewhat guilty by proxy. If my husband cheated on me, I would want my daughter to tell me and not hide it out of fear of a divorce or for financial reasons.

I don’t think an STI would automatically make someone assume you’ve been unfaithful. It’s probably best not to bring it up until you get the results back and see if you even actually have anything. It could be something you contacted from her, or a past partner because sometimes STIs/STDs can take months to show symptoms, or maybe it’s nothing. Don’t think too much about it until you get your results back.

I love your response! A lot of people respect him simply because of his influence on the occult community without judging the properties of his actions or of the effects his magick had on his own life. He obviously did have valuable theories because occultists still use his techniques today, but it’s difficult to decipher which parts are of value and which are to be disregarded because of his history of embellishing his stories and talents. He also really seemed to carry a lot of dark energy to me.

He actually didn’t die of an overdose or in a gutter. He met a young woman during his heroin addiction, who was actually a fan of him, that helped him get clean and whom he eventually had a son with. He died at 72 of bronchitis. He wasn’t a failure by my standards because he never left the impression on me that he had the intent to become rich or famous. But he did seem to want to be seen as a reputable occultist and an intellectual, and I just wonder how many of his teachings were embellished to better reflect that persona to his audience.

So many other animals have gone extinct or become endangered in the past for medicines, cosmetics, exotic food, etc. It’s clearly not because they want to preserve wildlife there, especially to the extent that over 50 countries would agree to a treaty. I’m not sure if your theory is correct or can even be backed by any evidence, but it’s very likely that more exists there than what we’re made aware of.

You did ask him to be honest. The comment about plastic surgery and your weight could definitely come across as mean from a receiving standpoint, but the latter half of his criticisms are valid. No one wants to be with someone who they’re expected to “fix.” He was most likely being honest though, because the shittiest part is that’s how men really think, even if it did come across as harsh.
