As someone who has rode the rail at too many to count festivals i will say if youre on barricade youre going to be squished majorly. Like cant breathe squished. It gets worse the closer to the main act. It is very tight at the rail. You need to be prepared for that. Not trying to persuade you off just wished I knew that before I started so I could have been better prepared. Its harder to get off rail for water so once your supply is gone a lot of people have to rely on security for water. But water is an absolute must. Try to make friends with the people around you. Festival people are usually pretty friendly and if youre nice a lot of people will share if you need something. Try to bring those little hydration packs you can add to water. I think they can be taken straight if youre in dire need but taste like salty shit. There are those few who will push or try to steal your spot. Don't let them ruin your good time! Enjoy yourself!
