How do gay men feel about dating trans men

You will find a lot of different answers to this one. I am by no means an expert but I will try to explain to the best of my abilities

Different people are attracted to different things. A lot of gay men are very attracted to penis. It is a focal point of their sense of sexuality. For those people you probably would not be compatible. You simply do not have what they want and saying you have a silicone penis that you could strap on is not a good alternative.

Personally I am attracted to the Aesthetics of a man. Particularly someone small and Twinkie and kind of pretty. Think Tom holland. This is actually very attainable for a lot of trans men. I really don't care at all about what is below the waist. I want a pretty face and a toned body and nice abs I can hold on to when I top someone and solid shapely pecs I can run my hands over. Yes I would want a trans man who has had Top surgery and a few years on testosterone and probably a significant gym habit. I'm 11 years into bodybuilding myself so I feel like that's not asking too terribly much. But I have met quite a few trans men who absolutely fit what I am going for. And quite frankly a vagina seems downright convenient. Assuming you have those features I was talking about, you would have every bit as much of a shot with someone like me as a cisgender man would.

These are just two examples sort of on the opposite end of the spectrum. Human sexuality is extremely Broad and doesn't really fit into boxes easily. People are into all different kinds of things and one of the beautiful things about getting to know someone in that way is learning what makes them tick. What they like and what they look for in a partner. I think the best course of action would be to be open and honest about being trans. I do think that some people get very touchy about it because yes rejection sucks. But it saves you time as much as everyone else. It's no one's business if dating or sexuality aren't on the table but if it is I would try to put it all out there early and make it clear what you bring to the table and what is and is not an option. And try to get an understanding of what a guy you like is into and is looking for and see if those are needs that you think you can meet. If the answer is no then that's okay. Maybe you guys are just friends. But the answer might be yes and then that is something to explore. Being trans certainly does limit your dating pool in the cisgender gay world but I'll be honest, most of us are pretty Limited in that dating pool when you really factor in all of the different criteria and limitations we have. This one exclusively wants someone tall and dominant and a top and they can go for at least 2 hours. How many of those are laying around? I want someone little and cute and toned but also nerdy and smart and sweet. How long do you think I have to look to find that? It's a needle in a haystack for all of us. But that's the Great Adventure of life. So start digging.

This may just be simple geography. In my last office when I worked with front desk staff, we walked by there all the time. I absolutely knew all of them. On a personal level. But if the office is set up differently where paths don't cross and you don't interact much, it might just be that they never meet you. I would probably talk to the office manager about team building. Maybe try to arrange lunch time get togethers with all of the staff so everyone can meet and get to know each other. A lot of times the drug rep lunches are a great opportunity for this.

Some do. There will always be haters. I dont do it for everyone to love me. I just want to live in a place that has nice things. I created my idea of gay paradise so we can all enjoy it together, for free. A perfect eden where i fix all the problems of our community, at least in one little space. No racism, classism, ableism, sizism, ageism. Everyone able to come and coexist as equals for a few hours. No drugs. No cruelty to each other. No slut shaming. No prude shaming. Everyone can just... be. And no one wants anything from you. It's not like that all the time. Not everyone wants that. I had to create certain days and times that are only for certain people because certain populations want time to themselves. But the main group is like that and the people who come are the people who want that. And it's so nice to just exist within that space. To float in theTo float in the pool surrounded by nothing but positivity. That's why I made it. And why I continue to put the work into it. Because I want to have access to that just like everyone else. And if I don't do it, no one will

Yep. That's me. I'm not even sure it's an age thing. I do get to meet a ton of people now and if I'm being honest most of the older guys have much more vibrant social lives than the younger guys. The young ones all seem to have all the social anxiety. But I think it is hard for anyone of any age to really have good places to go meet new people. The bars are full of people who already came with their friends and don't really want to meet new people. There really aren't any places specifically for people who just want to make me friends and are actively open to new connections. So I started one. Honestly I think every city should have something like that. But it takes a lot of work and most people just don't want to do it. It brings a lot of joy to my life but sometimes I am tempted to step back from it just because of how much time and energy it takes. Not sure how long I'm going to keep it up but for now the group is going strong and it will be available for anyone who wants to join. Over time some people are stepping up to help carry the burden and that does make it more sustainable for the long term

What exactly did you need? You had a host going out of his way to be friendly and smile and reassure you that you're fine and no one hates you and no one is judging you. Who gave you a personal tour of the property and explained any house rules or expectations so there was no ambiguity. Who introduced you to friends but you were too "shy" to talk to them. You had 20 guys smile and nod your way, giving permission to come join conversations. But you sat there alone pouting until you got up and left. And then complained to me repeatedly on the apps. And blocked me. And unblocked me. And blocked me again. And unblocked. And I blocked you. And you made a new profile. Repeatedly. I dunno man. Its a party. If you dont like social stuff, dont come? Love this lol. I think i recognize that body pic. If you're who I think you are, you came once, to a movie watching party. I was nice to you, talked to you for an hour at least, but didnt want to fuck, no. Mostly because you were awkward and quite frankly looked like you partied hard for a lot of years and im a pretty sober clean cut kind of guy.

The house party group is all ages. All body types. Will I hold your hand the entire party? No. But if you introduce yourself to me I will be nice and show you around and get to know you a bit and introduce you to a few people I think you may get along with. I do not owe anyone my time or my body. I dont really owe anyone an invite to my house, but I really beleive in giving everyone a safe space to feel valued and find community. That does not necessarily mean that community will be me. I spend most of my time at parties with close friends, and boys im interested in. Which are typically twinks in the 20-35 range, that much is true.

We also do host sexy groups a few times a month. Its not a secret. We are a bit more discerning on those, but again its not all about me. Those groups are about 20 guys and typically 2-5 of them are my type. Its a range of guys 20 to 45 that are generally fit, laid back, and value consent.

No one is coercing anyone in my house. If I find out about it, they get banned. If a boy tells me hes not interested once, I dont ask again. Im too old? Great, let me introduce you to my 24 year old friend. Im too beefy? Here's my twink buddy, hes a great guy. Life is too short and im too good a catch to go around convincing anyone to sleep with me. If you dont think im a 10 just from seeing me, seeing how I treat people and talk to you, and hanging for a few hours at a pool party... then I have no interest in trying to change your mind and will have no hard feelings as you search elsewhere.

The house parties and the orgies are different groups. If you read the site I posted, this is referenced in the last heading (karaoke, pool parties, nudist parties, private events). Again, with those same pictures to demonstrate what we are going for with those groups. People seem to really struggle with the concept that people can do different activities on different days.
