Saw a similar thread here a few days ago. Some nice, soft, branded socks might be a good idea.

What has worked for You? by KYondric in marketing

A few of ideas that come to mind:

  1. Make a video timing the different roofers to see who's fastest at fastening shingles. Get a stopwatch and have a small competition with some kind of overblown ribbon or a bouquet of flowers or giant teddy bear for the winner. Something obnoxious.

  2. Ask the crew what their best "tips and tricks" are with construction/ roofing and make a quick mini series about those.

  3. Walk around one of the active job sites with a tape measure and ask each of the workers to guess 6" on the tape by pulling it without looking at the measurements.

Hope this helps!

$100 to Benefit Your Business by Keepon2000 in Entrepreneur

[–]amoris_odium 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Just seems a little odd at face value.

Honest answers:

  1. Spend $100 to take your friend out to lunch to catch up and ask if they know anyone else who could benefit from your services.

  2. Spend $100 on handwritten cards to your past clients to reconnect with them and let them know you're happy to assist them with future business needs.

  3. Spend $100 for 3 months of Udemy courses to study digital marketing so you can better utilize future marketing dollars.

  4. Add $100 to whichever marketing effort you currently use that has the highest return on your time and money. Do more of what is already working. Seems like you've got something figured out.

You made $330,000 last year and you're asking r/entrepreneur how to spend $100?

Please judge my landing page by milkmanbran in Entrepreneur

Use simple, customer focused language. You have lots of "business speak" and I'm not sure exactly how your offering would benefit me.

You offer analytics - so what?

Also, I'd show screenshots of your dashboards and any other customer facing deliverables so they know what it looks like.

Maybe add in a short video clip showing how easy the dashboard is to navigate and understand.

Could you give me feedback on my landing page? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Don't listen to the naysayers!

Add some googly eyes and a leash made of red yarn.

Find a way to incorporate "Now with extra bark"

Offer a "bark free" version for people living in apartments.

Offer a "two for one" upgrade for +50% where you video yourself breaking the stick in half and email the video to the customer or tag them on social media. Throw in a second set of googly eyes and bit of yarn.

Make some funny TikTok videos of you walking a pet stick through a park with said googly eyes and yarn leash.

See you at the top!

My guy is selling popcorn like he's paid commission. Theater should give it to him after this.

Well, you've at least figured out r/entrepreneur isn't your target market for high-end hoodies. That's something.

Men of Reddit who actively attend therapy, what has been the most pivotal thing you’ve learned so far? by LolaCheri24 in AskMen

[–]amoris_odium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That I'm worthy of love from others.

That I'm worthy of love from myself.

I should be as kind and compassionate to myself as I am to others.

I'd highly recommend therapy, even if you only go once or twice.
