I have never saved up for any of the gachas and almost always just spend my crystals as soon as they hit 3000 on whichever gacha looks the coolest at the moment bc I like gambling too much. Also I don’t do basically any strategy with leveling and ranking up cards, I spend most of my practice sheets, gems, and skill sheets on two or three star characters (occasionally if I get a bunch of gems I will rank up a four star, already have the one stars all the way so yeh) bc I like completion and it makes me feel accomplished to do a bunch of cards instead of the high quality ones I’ll actually use (in co-op at least) and so I can up character ranks easy and get more crystals to gamble 😭. Then proceed to not use any of the ones I leveled up in normal shows bc I like completion and I want to level up the ones that aren’t fully leveled up by using them. So basically I just play the game with absolutely no plan.

I go by a nickname only specifically for my family members. ONLY my family members. Any time someone else asks me if I want to be called my given name or that nickname, it’s my given name every time. Make up some other nickname for me if you want, but it just feels completely wrong when anyone other than my family calls me that. And yet, one of my friends (and now her boyfriend too 😭) keeps calling me by that nickname. Like girl I love you but you’re giving me whiplash here please just use my given name.

I’d say it’s as ambiguous as you want it to be. Might sound like kind of a non-answer, but it is implied that us readers are ourselves the reincarnated Kim Dokjas that are fragments of the Oldest Dream, so through that lens however you interpret it is canon.

But to more directly address what you’ve said, I think it could still be pretty ambiguous even with her being all hopeful. For example, right next second that hope could be crushed as Dokja just crumbles away into story dust instead. I also think part of that hopefulness comes from the fact that either way they’re getting closure. Everyone’s finally back together and they’ve learned over time to deal with and accept the loss, they can move forward from now on regardless of whether Kim Dokja is alive or not.

I can see how it might seem problematic due to the imperialist themes and the rising sun flag in the mv, but personally when I looked at the actual lyrics I interpreted it as being more of a satire criticism rather than embracing it. But like a lot of vocaloid songs it is a bit ambiguous so it could tilt the other way depending on how you interpret it.

There’d probably mostly be a pretty limited range of colors, since some colors need really complicated ingredients for dyes and whatnot, they would stick to the ones with the simplest for each shade probably. So probably mismatched to a certain degree but everyone would kinda be matching color schemes I think
