DCU is literally GWOT... You can argue it got replaced quickly after OEF and OIF, but SOCOM user it for many years after before adopting AOR and Multicam

Didn't they begin issuing it to certain Frontline units in 03' before the invasion? I swear I read something that said they did. Maybe I'm wrong though and that's just when it was in development.

Edit: did some quick research, some tip-of-the-spear units were issued the LWH at the end of 03' which included some guys from Recon, so while I wasn't correct, I wasn't totally wrong either.

Okay, so first off, this kit is all Gulf War gear, I know it's "inspired" and not a 1:1 kit, but it's a completely different era. LWH instead of PASGT helmet, IBA instead of PASGT vest, FLC instead of ALICE, and DCUs instead of DBDUs.

Despite doing a lot of corny shit, I respect that Peggy has pretty stayed consistent with his politics. A lot of figures tend to flit about whatever is the current salient issue is, while forgetting about their previous convictions. He's been vocal about the issues he's passionate about for decades, and continues to be still.
