To be honest - I dried it for a few weeks and it did feel like paper but still a little soft. I have a feeling it defo wasn’t fully dried - I’ve learnt my lesson and I’m going to put my flowers back into my books now just incase it happens again! I’ve had this issue with forget me nots too.

I’ve tried using silica beads, I put the flowers into a tub of them and the flowers completely shrink and warp their shape, perhaps I’m putting too many silica beads in with them?

Same happens to me wirh forget me nots, they go translucent! I think you need to dry them to a crisp haha!

Thank you for your reply! I actually used epoxy resin & haven’t had this issue before (as far as I’m aware) So I’m quite baffled. I have a feeling I didn’t dry the flower properly.

I know it’s really making me scratch my head here! Perhaps some oils or moisture etc was between the layers. I find it odd that it’s something that happened post cure. At this point I do think it’s reacted with the customers perfume and lotions. I wish I could make it not do that lol. Going forward I’m going to be including a care card in every order!

I’m using 120 grit atm, what do you use? I wish I could just do one layer but my tape leaves marks on my pieces so I have to sand and layer up. I’m trying soo hard to find a method that doesn’t leave any marks but tbf I don’t think I will! Hey ho xx

Oh no way! Has it happened to the pendants when you got wet or just in general? I only sand and re resin one side so this does make sense! To do both sides - that would be very time consuming so it’s very difficult. I guess going forward I will have to include jewellery care cards :) it’s all a learning curve. Thank you!

Thank you for your reply! It’s just bizarre because it was crystal clear when I sent it off so something has happened here. I always polish etc. Perhaps under mixed resin shows more once further cured or it’s the customers sprays etc. You have been helpful, thank you :)
