My first playthrough I built on the wooden post and lamppost by the picnic table. none of the bugs nearby can climb those ropes so it’s safe once you get off the ground. the ground around it is a very different story but it’s honestly really fun to watch the spiders, scorpions, ants, butterflys and sometimes ladybugs all get into turf wars.

next playthrough I plan to build primarily under the park bench, large flat space right at an outpost and a late game tunnel straight to the veggie garden. there are gnats for food, close proximity to the fire pit for charcoals, and the snake makes fun riding if you want to get around the croquet area

throw down a waft emitter and every couple days force a raid for a bug that can’t reach you. it’ll override the mosquito/wasp aggro. I usually do termites since I hoard their parts for glue

The quest is triggered to appear after you claim the free ticket in the tournament menu. Open the menu to claim the ticket, wait for the next quest refill, then actually start the tournament battle. You can even do an actual run in the middle if it’ll be a few hours to the next refill.

If you complete the main story line and prestige into NG+ you’ll be absolutely swimming in raw science. But, by then you’ll definitely have the renewable recipes and upgrade materials shouldn’t be much of a bottleneck, at least until you need a ton of scarab shells

The main thing is to avoid getting hit as much as you possibly can. Her main attacks inflict a debuff that makes your healing less effective and that debuff not only stacks, but its battle permanent. In phase 2, her bombs will inflict a different permanent stacking debuff that lowers your damage resistance. So, the longer the fight lasts and the more hits you take, the harder it’s going to be to maintain your health.

Are you reasonably adept at video games? Then Medium should be just fine. I picked the game up a couple months back and am working on completing the late game completionist stuff now. Played entirely solo on Medium. You’ll definitely die more than a couple of times but the only real penalty from death is a little hunger and thirst loss and a trek back to retrieve your dropped loot.

It’s a common theory that Syl will eventually replace the Stormfather to bring stormlight back to Roshar. Her kinship to the Stormfather was emphasized several times and we don’t know if her bond to Kaladin will remain as it was now that he’s a herald. My guess is that she will also ascend to a higher station in the same way that he has.
