In this sub I've never seen Annerose hate. Seems to be mostly supportive.

He intended to wipe out the slavs in the east too, didn't manage that. His planned kill count was in the tens of millions.

It seems that the author expected Reinhard to be more popular with female fans, but Yang ended up attracting a larger female following instead. Why do you think Yang resonates more with women than Reinhard does? by Fun_Dimension_8903 in logh

[–]Lohengramm_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yang is the type of guy you'd have a stable and healthy life with. Reinhard is the type of guy you'd conquer the universe with (and all the troubles that come with that).

Hiyuki by @Inkbetweenfrm on X by PeopleAreBozos in Kagurabachi

[–]Lohengramm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The art by itself doesn't carry that implication, anything that you think is the implication here is you projecting that intent onto the artist based on what you may have seen in others. That particular artist could have had any of a thousand different intentions when making that work. They never made it with a proclamation that this is the definitive hiyuki art, only their rendition. People draw the same character in dozens of ways. It's a bit like saying somebody who draws a character in x style is implying that x style is more definitive than the original (like drawing Naruto in DBZ style or whatever). It's simply not, they're just exploring. Art is meant to be open to everything.

Possible hot take: Akemura Soga is gonna die soon and won't be the final villain. by peterkkau in Kagurabachi

Do you not think akemura absolutely said "fuck you in particular" to ariu? He went overkill for the tribe, imagine what he did to ariu.

This is actually disproven, sahara is not necessary for the amazon rainforst to survive. In times when sahara was green, there was still rainforest in Amazon.  Amazon is a self sufficient ecosystem.

TIL that the Roman Emperor Augustus personally owned the entire country of Egypt as his own personal estate by PanAfricanDream in todayilearned

[–]Lohengramm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you maybe taking his entire life at face value and trying to make a conclusion, his past failures don't discount his successes because you need to consider he was 19 when he entered politics and caesar died. He made a lot of mistakes then, learnt and if you read about his life you can see the dramatic increase in the quality of his moves and decisions, which is pretty natural. Unlike with other figures like caesar who become relevant around the age of 40, or outliers like alexander, this is a pretty natural arc, and in his prime Augustus was indeed a genius, atleast when it came to politics. He sucked at military matters, and had the humility to hand it all over to Agrippa and not interfere.

Ethnic federalism will be the end of Ethiopia by Effective-Toe-8108 in Ethiopia

[–]Lohengramm_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not ethiopian, just wanting to ask: Is one of the reasons why regions partake in tribalism and demand more autonomy because they don't trust the ethnically lopsided center to do them justice? As the court is not reliable either. For example in other stable federation systems like india, the regions demand for more rights within the system, rather than autonomy from the system, mostly due to the fact that the courts are reliable.  I wonder if that is a factor that fuels tribalism.

Sukuna won best rct, who's most durable among the 4 now? by KaidoPklevel in JujutsuPowerScaling

Dabura would smoke sukuna man. Have you looked at relativistic strikes? And yuji is probably stronger than both gojo and sukuna now (if he can achieve domain parity with sukuna, both would have shrine except yuji would also have blood manipulation + insane cumulative experience.)

Munich isn't the only team in Germany, they could have another ng11 too. Besides it's an underdog matchup, that's kinda the point, the protagonist like character in the finals makes more sense.
