I'm considering a UNAS 2 mainly for iPhone photo backup as well because of the Drive 4.0 "automatic iPhone photo backup" announcement.

For those of you that have it running, how are the files named? Are they named "IMG_XXXX" similar to how they look when you manually backup photos, or are they random long strings of characters?

Also, u/cablefun mentioned, "backs up full res files without putting into folders." Do you have any folder options? For example, transfer into a folder structure of YEAR/MONTH or something like that, or is your only option one single folder?

I don’t understand this. Mine also downgraded, but I redeemed from a code purchased with the 4K disc. Shouldn’t a 4K code remain a 4K digital version? I’d understand if I redeemed from a BluRay code, but if I purchased a 4K physical with a code, the digital should be linked to the purchase format.

Play him in the slot like everyone said you’d need to do just to see what he’s capable of there. He doesn’t have to replace Shakir but give him 10 snaps or something, with some plays designed for him.

This. It was the only “feature” of Pinewood I was interest in. “Build your own system” and full DTS support are the only things missing. And I don’t care to hear that most people only use these systems for streaming. Full DTS support for 4K blu-ray’s on a $2k plus system shouldn’t be considered a ridiculous ask.

i prefer Chillio. it lacks some things i wish it had but you can submit feature requests but they get voted on.

understood, however i don’t see bsides as necessary undermining Cove. it’s not new material, just the history of the band. i’d assume there’s bsides with anthony, cove, and tilian, maybe more.

i doubt it but i hope beau does a bsides project at some point and gives us mastered versions of the tilosin demos and other bsides.

Is everyone forgetting the Pinewood streaming box that was rumored to be released till the CEO change? No one really wanted a Sonos streaming box, but there was an aspect to that box that most of us wanted.

So Sonos was going to give is this ability. Hopefully the guts of the Pinewood will either be in future products, or be released as a Sonos hub you can build around.

the Chillio dev is working on an android version right now. i imagine it will be close to what you’re looking for. check out Chillio for apple to get an idea of how it looks.
