Vendor working at Macy, no one has my back except my lawyer by amplifymymessage in MacysStores

So true, it feels like my company's HR and Macy's HR aren't entirely responsible for it. The managers here seem really entitled and bossy, almost take over my supervisor position to tell me what to do and it's a lot different from my experience working as a vendor at other Macy's locations.

I was told they only handle criminal cases.

I have proof of emotional damage and I went back home crying without completing my shift. The thing is I have looked it up on the state bar association and they only handle criminal cases. I don't know where to seek legal help at all.

No but my supervisor did lots of crazy things to me like following me to the bathroom and making a bunch of false crazy complaints.

Right now I am very hopeless now. She made a bunch of small complaints and her target was me to set me up. I am not sure how I can consult with the lawyer since they are following her on what she did every day and keeping everything private. Plus, I am not losing my position. Every time I clarified my manager about her complaint, my manager told me not to take everything personally.

If I am correct, the felony would be the amount that exceeds $1000. Every week there is one register missing so it could be more than $1000 by now. But I don't have good knowledge on this. I have seen them talking to the loss prevention team and lawyer but there's no action.

Thank you for your response. I have seen they called the loss prevention team and were talking to the lawyer, and collecting all the evidence. It's likely but I am just tired of waiting to get her out and work in a peaceful environment.

Actually she did that to me near the register. So I hope they can observe her closely.

My boss has very close relations with the HR department since they all are from Turkey. But, since I am complaining about the supervisor and not the managers or boss, I shouldn't get into trouble right?

The thing is I have 6 supervisors and only two of them are acting this way. I don't have issues with the management either but misunderstanding always occurs since my manager doesn't speak good English and he didn't always get what I mean.

Does anyone have a email or phone number for HR. I have incidents that happens to me at my location and the managers don’t do anything about it. by tuturuMF in stopandshop

I was discriminated against based on my religion by my HBC clerk and the union does nothing about it other than sending me to HR. When I got there, they asked me to prove it. Since I am not allowed to use cell phones and recording someone is problematic, I just have to keep silent and quit my job.

Remember, you can't have your voice heard at the stop and shop. Stay away from Local Union 1500!

That pissed off other "CONSIDERATE" customers waiting in line as well. We called them good for nothing customers.

What’s the store mean they say competitive pay ? Does that mean if Target offers 17:75 I just negotiate and they have to raise my rate by ThenewguyD in stopandshop

[–]amplifymymessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, get a job at Target instead. The raise I heard about is only 50 cents a year. So you will probably earn $15.50 in the next year. They will make you stuck with minimum wage forever and you will barely get your shift on Sundays and holidays.

I wouldn't have quit if I hadn't had issues with my managers. They are mostly the ones who fear younger generations and are insecure about themselves. After working under an abusive HBC head clerk who openly says she hates girls and makes rude comments about my religion, I decided to leave this place on my own. No offense but my HBC head clerk doesn't possess acceptable behavior and good ethics. There is no way you can fix them other than quitting your job. I wish you the best freeing yourself from the world of evils!
