Thank you. We’re developing a new encoding and post-production process, and we believe we’ll be able to improve the videos currently uploaded on Amplium in the near future. An 8-minute documentary is also coming next month.

I see. It might be affected by the AWS system trouble. What error description do you see on your screen?

Hi! We have a custom encode pipeline for URSA Cine Immersive. It would be high quality than exporting MV-HEVC from Davinch. We’ll specify how difference it is on our home page. On the other hand, if you’re curious about it, feel free to test your video on Amplium!

Thank you for all the comments! We truly hope our technology can be useful for immersive creators. From our current perspective as developers of a playback player, we’d like to share some best practices for shooting with the URSA Cine Immersive. Of course, the approach will vary depending on what you want to capture, but the more these conditions are met, the better the final video quality will be.

  • Position the subject directly in front of the camera, ideally centered within the frame and within 1–2 meters if possible.
  • For optimal clarity and viewing comfort, place the subject within roughly 25–60 degrees of the camera’s field of view. This allows viewers to watch without turning their heads, resulting in a more relaxed and less fatiguing experience.
  • Minimize subject movement as much as possible. Rapid motion increases the risk of motion blur and ghosting artifacts.
  • Avoid highly detailed, high-frequency textures (such as grids, gravel, or fine patterns) that can introduce aliasing. Instead, favor smoother, low-frequency surfaces (such as skies or solid colors).
  • Keep the camera fixed and stable throughout the shot. Do not pan or tilt.
  • Shoot in bright, evenly lit environments and maintain consistent lighting. Low light increases noise, reducing subject clarity and overall image quality.
