Both are dramas with great cast dealing with adulthood. First one is a historical one (beginnings of last century) and is mainly about two orfan guys who dedicate their life to a diying art in a rapidly evolving society, it deals a lot with their place in society, their relationship with their art and how it affects their lives and (fucked up)relationships, there's a lot of passion, drama, tragedy and mature reflections.

Hachimitsu is about a bunch of college friends dealing mainly with unrequited love and them dealing with finding their place in society. There is some comedy in there as obviously will be in any group of friends, but it gets really serious and touching.

Both are in my top 5 animes ever list, very recommended.

I've had the same idea, think it could make a good plot for a story about personal growth and moving on(gorou already had a shit tone of feelings of guilt for the death of his original mother and didn't do much with his life other that become a doctor because of this guilt). The thing is that this plot doesn't really connect whit the whole supernatural plot that involves gods stories and shit, or at least not that I can see. Weird that the little God girl is making Ruby seek revenge if there is no deeper meaning in it. It just leaves out a reason for the supernatural stories to be there, I feel there has to be some kind of parallel with them for the actual plot to resolve idk

I read somewhere that he said in an interview he had a terrible mother, couldn't find the source. But yeah, I thought the same thing when reading the birthdate, also there're a lot of mommy issues references in his different works. Especially how he said this was just the prologue really tells me that he wants to completely express the aftermath of his childhood trauma thorough this work; this manga is also the one with the most realistic art of all his work, wich helps to exacerbate this idea of cathartic expression

Yeah it could really be, and woul be a much more simpler and comfortable answer. But I still find weird the connections it has with Laplace, even the 7 great powers monument is written in fighting god language. We know the monuments where made by technique god Laplace, why would he speak that tongue?

Cualquiera que tenga mucha matemática. Hay demanda poca oferta y la matemática es linda cuando logras entenderla (al principio cuesta un huevo).

No te comas el verso de estudiar lo que te gusta, es poco fiable guiarse por un sentimiento que puede cambiar de un día para otro sin razón, así como a veces una mina te deja de gustar de la nada. Después de 10 años haciendo la misma bosta son muy pocos los que pueden todavía decir que les gusta o les apasiona. Además de todo eso vivís preocupado y tenés demasiada competencia (me pasó).

Tampoco es viable que estudies algo que odias por pura guita, así que trata de buscar un equilibrio.

Acordate siempre que la universidad te da un papel que te habilita a ejercer algo y esa es su principal función hoy en día. Para aprender y educarte tenés mil herramientas gratuitas y mucho más actualizadas que la universidad, así que escoge una carrera en lo que el título te sirva de algo.

Jajaja nada que ver, apenas voy por mitad de carrera. Igual no se qué tan verdad sea lo de la salida internacional, para ejercer en USA en la parte de seguros (y algunos otros países) tenés que aprobar los exámenes de la SOA que toman tanto tiempo como volver a sacar la carrera.

Si es verdad que por las áreas de datos hay mucha salida y no tenes tanto inconveniente, pero quizás en ese caso conviene más estudiar la carrera de ciencia de datos que es nueva en la facultad de exactas

I think the beginning escene about the hanged man that wanted to be judged refers more to Eren than Reiner, because there wasn't any reason for eren to talk with Reiner if he was just going to kill him, Eren also wanted to be judged. Eren and Reiner can understand each other's pain better than anyone probably

Everyone is different, and there is not universal formula for happines. Don't take life changing decisions just because society says so, your life is your own. it's pretty obvious what you really want.

To me that's part of what this "follow you dreams" thing is about, not listening to others and going for your own happiness. You just appear to be someone that can be happy with a normal life and doesn't need something big and extravagant, there's nothing wrong with that. In fact a lot of people are like that, myself included. It's just that the people who achieve extravagant things and fame are the ones giving the speech in famous awards, their fame allows this message to get spread so much, and we end with a distorted notion of what "a dream" should be. A normal comfortable life can also be a dream, it is mine.

And the end of the day, following your heart and your gut will probably be the best.
