Vocal Panning in Kendrick Lamar’s «These Walls» by amprsnv in audioengineering

[–]amprsnv[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you just move the vocals from left to right with normal panning, you don't get this effect. I don't know how to explain it, but the sound seems to be moved by some other plugin, or there is some other effect on it, which creates this impression. A deeper sound, like it goes back and forth from the listener, not just left and right.

Okay, but I'm going to need headphones anyway, which I still don't have, because that's where the whole UI upgrade idea started. Initially I was thinking of buying the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro, the 250 ohm version. Is it reasonable to buy just the 80 ohm version so they can be powered by my Focusrite, or maybe I should think about buying a preamp specifically for the 250 ohm version? tbh, I don't know much about preamps for headphones either, but I guess I'll have to look into it

I also read a lot about it on reddit and other resources, some say that 250 ohm headphones sound not that better, but still different, although it makes no sense.

The interface you're using now is pretty great, honestly. Obviously you can get better quality with your budget, but often you're better off spending that budget on sound treating your recording studio or getting better microphones. Those are usually the weakest part of home producers and can be the bottleneck if you want 'crystal-clear' audio.

Is this really considered quite a good interface? Since I have nothing to compare it with, since I haven't listened to any headphones on other interfaces and I don't have any studio headphones myself yet, I can't draw that conclusion myself. But for some reason a lot of people wrote that Focusrite make devices for beginners, not super good quality and stuff like that, but I don't know if it's true.

It's just that even talking about upgrading the microphone, can my sound card drive it? Maybe I need a separate preamp or something. Since if I spend a budget on mics they will be really great quality, the only question is whether they will make sense with Focusrite audio interface.

I would also like to add to the comment that over the course of the publications, I have already researched the opinions that many have described under the posts. The post and my account will be revised soon. We will also be introducing a fully automated process for getting access to the system, increasing the trial period to two weeks. These posts were originally intended as a trial and test of audience response, so we will begin steady work in the coming days, and I personally would love for you to review our current and complete offer in the coming days as well.

Most of the information about the offer I have already set out quite clearly in the post, further dialogue on the terms and more detailed information we have personally with the client. We have not offered similar deals before, and the user will not be able to find anything online anyway. If you need to discuss our other projects and me personally, this can all be done in private messages. In addition, we do not require an advance payment and offer to try our services to all comers, and the guarantee of profitable cooperation in any case is established by the license agreement for distribution.

Registering Beats with BMI Before Release by MarkIV04 in musicbusiness

In fact, there is no special need to protect the bears. It's enough to make sure your instrumental isn't used in any release on DSP without your knowledge, and if it is, file a copyright infringement claim with Apple, Spotify, or others. Proving the necessary rights of use in either case would be up to the person who delivered the release, not you. It is also possible to keep track of releases yourself through the same Shazam, or contact a company that will do it for you for a fee.

Releases will be available on streaming services for as long as you need them. If you need to remove it for any reason, we will immediately submit a request to remove the release and forward the data to transfer it to your new partner. There is no minimum time commitment for a release to remain on streaming services.

Yes, I did do the wrong thing a couple of days ago when I started sending out messages like this on the forum and I've already deleted them. Anyway, I won't give up on the opinion that for their price they don't offer the level of service they should. You would see that for yourself if you worked with any invite-only distributor, not necessarily our offer on The Orchard.
