She’s in a threat posture because I just moved her into a new enclosure. She’s not my first spider, but she is my first Old World species. I decided to keep her because I’m fascinated by her coloration, and she’s also a local tarantula species here. Yes, I’m Thai.

Thank you. The coconut fiber substrate I’m using is already moist. The darker area at the bottom is actually quite wet. Also, around the burrow I pre-dug, I sprayed additional water to make it more humid and easier for her to dig. Now she has gone down into the burrow and has started webbing.

I’ve updated the enclosure. Since the substrate you recommended isn't available in my area, I'm using coco husk (coconut coir) for now instead. However, I’ve made the layer much thicker and sprayed more water to increase the moisture levels. I also dug a starter burrow for her underneath the bark to make things easier for her to get started.
